The Grayshott Memorial Statue -

We were delighted to be approached by Phil Bates (Designer) and Surrey Ceramics (Sponsor) to work on a local project! A new memorial statue dedicated to the long service given by Queen Elizabeth II was to be made and to be given pride of place in the village of Grayshott's town square. Having discussed the project with Phil and the team we were tasked with putting together some rendered visuals, producing laser production designs for the artwork and producing a manufacturing drawing for a local maker that will fabricate the piece.

Once the design elements had been ironed out, we digitally produced the artwork for Phil's design and reverse engineered the drawing for the Grayshott Village emblem. Using AI to match the text fonts, and CAD packages to trace the outlines we designed and organised the laser cut components from a hard wearing stainless steel. Working closely with Martin from local fabrication specialists 'Spedo Engineering' fabrication begun.

With the Grayshott town centre Memorial Statue currently underway we are excited for the grand unveiling of the piece currently scheduled for the 29th September 2024. With pride of place in the town centre we will be proud and hugely grateful to everyone involved to have been given the opportunity to work on such an exciting project. The celebration of Queen Elizabeth II and her long standing dedication to the nation.
